ooh i thought this was for the race lol

Last year our trackday was just before the race and all the teams were setting up, had a really good atmosphere to be there just before.

For the 24Hr , so far nothing has been talked about

Not bothering with the LM24 any more (certainly not whilst I'm doing trackdays there) but I'm hoping to go the Nurburgring 24 this year, assuming the twats that run it don't fcuk things up any further.

I truly have seen it all now. Only in January and JG is already committed to two trackdays! You're going to treble your annual mileage this year. P.S. Welcome aboard. :D

From the FAQ on LoT 17 seems to be the minimum age:

Been reading a few posts and just wandered what i need to do to prep my car and what to take. Hi vis jackets, first aid kit, full size number plate? Rivets in number plates? Really dont fancy doing this! Went to the ring last year with nothing and didnt have any problems but dont really want to risk fines and crude methods of attaching number plates at the side of the road.

Nothing, high vis and spare bulbs is a bonus do not go and rivet your plates.

+ warning triangle I wouldn't worry about the number plate. I'm not sure any of us are going to risk upsetting les flics at the toll booths this time around. It's only because the cop was being a cnut and there were a couple of cars with no number plates on, that then magically got re-attached when he started investigating, thus highlighting there portability. I've been through those same toll booths at least a dozen times in the VX and even been stopped by the cops a couple of times during LM24 jinks without any problems. We annoyed him and he was being a prick in return.

I thought I'd try the diplomatic approach first but :yeahthat:  Not only did I get to bore holes in my clam, I also got to contribute €20 to his fine as well. :angry2:

Seeing speedchills mentioned, thought I'd let you know that Neil who owns Speedchills, has been a vx220 turbo owner now since last summer. Martin S
