Sambuca? At the prices in the hotel bar?
It would be cheaper to drive down to Italy and pick it up at source.
going to buy some this afternoon on my shopping list
any preference ?

Lets all get the ferry.
i think a convoy may not be the smartest move.
if I sneak off , it will be to visit one of the WWII graveyards to pay respects. for this reason only for me eurotunnel gives me extra time

shame you can't get the ferry using the vouchers. P&O accept them
Yep, would like to joint the ferry convoy but an approx £200 saving over the ferry is to much to overlook.

I've always wanted to visit the Normandy beaches and have a look round the old gun batteries and museum, that and Mont St-Michel.

As I've got monday off I think I may be taking a sightseeing detour on the way back from Le Mans

Would be interested in this as well. Had a look round Dunkirk on the way back from Spa a few years ago and although there's not much there it's still very humbling.

I visited a war cemetery in eastern France. It was very upsetting, so many graves with young men who were no older than 18.I've always wanted to visit the Normandy beaches and have a look round the old gun batteries and museum, that and Mont St-Michel.

i to would like to do this maybe could have another thread with this as a stop off on way back.
