Fancied a change. I know a lot will think it's sacrilege, but I think they've turned out alright, and not seen them on a vx before.
Still got the rollhoop cover to do, and a few ends to tidy up with the hairdryer. Doing the same to the windscreen surround next week.
Bought a 1.2x1.2m roll of di-noc and sill have enough left to do my dash plates again. Total cost 60 quid.

What do you think?

I actually quite like it... Even though I am not normally a fan of stripes... Will have to have a proper butchers soon! Hard Top looks good... I take it you got to Johnnyboy's and back fairly easily... Thank god they have sorted out some of those fcuking creases in the road down to his! Before they had got rid of the worst couple you may have stuggled over them with your lowered suspension. PS.. Am loving the Local Council Dustbin in the background.

I like it! Will look great with the surround done too. I've fancied doing this on my silver NA but gf would leave me.

Looks OK, as long as you are happy with it, what does it matter?

True. Wasn't sure when I first started but it's growing on me. Certainly adds a bit of interest anyway. Will post some decent photos once it's all done, and not parked in a rubbish-filled garage.

Mangham - Got to jonny's okay last weekend, the hard top is great - nice colour match and fits well. North East meet definately required after Christmas when it starts to warm up.

Cool... Glad to hear it!

Bit of a nothing journey isn't it, after doing that journey at least once per week for pretty much the last 10years I am convinced they only get the diggers out and move part of the carriageway every year or so just to keep me on my toes... I can count the potholes that have been there for the last 5yrs that they botch a repair every February for it turn returns 6months later for me to complain about again.

Good job!! I like it, it certainly breaks the lines of the car up. I tried to do the front v with vinyl wrap, but unfortunately it looked as though a 3 yr old had done it. So ended up doing the door handles and the radio fascia. Which actually looks good imo, and was easier to do than the v, and window surround. I can`t wallpaper either, not enough patience. thumbsup

Is this the 3M Di-noc stuff? I used this on my dashplates but I can't imagine it would fare very well on the exterior as it is applied using heat so surely when the engine get's hot and/or the sun attacks it, it could cause problems with peeling?! I hope not as it looks surprisingly good thumbsup
