Jonnyboy he had my offer to make all the remaining splitters for this group buy but they were not to the liking of the producer as not a double skin splitter.

The last 2 splitters which was finished in august I take to deliver them here in Italy. I have seen in this day other 5 Splitters without painting and the producer told me that the rest of the splitters will be produced until he have finished painting. I'm not understanding too, why they are so slowly to finished that work. @Peter You can send me every day a PM and writing here! If I don't have news what did you want to hear from me? If I have news I write them here!

Steffen this is what YOU posted on 22nd July 2011 "I know and I understand that you want to have the name of the producer. So what happens when I give you the name? Everybody starts to call him, send him mails, and so on, maybe someone wants to go to the lawer....! Right?? Ok, what solve this??? In my personal opinion nothing! And not only that it solves nothing, this coud also destroy all between him and me, and the little relationship which I solved betwen him and me I need to finish this GB!!! I promise you that in the moment in which I don't believe anymore that he will send everybody the Splitter which the person has paid for I will give you the name, address, etc.... I hope I will meet him in the middle of the next week...than I will give you more information at which point we are!" I think its about time you gave us those details so we can demand our money back!!!! If we wait much longer it will soon be 1 year since we gave our orders and still nothing. You have had 3 months since the post above and still I don,t know when to expect the splitter. let me make it simple REFUND ASAP or DELIVERY OF SPLITTER !!!! No more posts just action.

Steffen, you should give people the full details you have of the maker. Its unreasonable of you not to. By not doing so you are preventing them chasing their money or their goods. Your concern should be with those out of pocket not with some incompetent supplier. I cant believe this is still going on and those still waiting are being so good natured about it.

wow steffen this still not finalized nearly a year since first started. it should be a instant refund to all uk purchasers (and no doubt germany forum too) and the real pisser on the uk purchasers is i offered you to get you out of the s**t and to make them so that it was done and dusted in the uk.

Quite frankly, I’ve given up all hope of either the splitter appearing or a refund being given. If the mystery manufacturer, whose identity is being so closely guarded, had any conscience at all, he would have refunded the money long ago. If he has had personal problems even more need for the refund as it is obvious to anybody that the total numbers of splitters on order could not be fulfilled. There are times in life when you are real and truly ripped off, thankfully they are few and far between, and this is just one of those occasions where you were.

Are there no European moderators on . Org who can step in ? If not would it not be a good idea to appoint such a person who if need be could moderate and try and insuee this can not happen in the future ? If this group buy had been done here the op would have been done bang to rights months ago !

Hasn't this come to the point that the member who organised the group buy should release the manufacturers details. If he doesn't, then the whole thing smells like a scam, and should be treated as such.

There are moderators on this site which speak multiple languages and who deal with european suppliers.

I don't see what they can do in this case which is(are) a private transaction(s)

No one afaiaa has asked the moderators of this site for any help with this matter.

If there are specific things that anyone would like us to do, then please ask and we'll do our best, usually we're a pretty resourceful bunch.

i think steffan hasnt suplied to the german forum either on last read,as mentioned why is he holding the makers name secret is it because he dosnt want people to find what profit he is making or has he actualy paid for all splitters to be made. these take a day to make tops and paint even less so god knows why this has been ongoing for so long. I think he is lucky he lives in europe as im sure things would of been sorted in a proper fashion if in uk. i think its a scam even so a few have been suplied if you have over five months from getting mine and then nothing then it sure smell of something. is there not a international fraud section for online scams? To Moderators. I would sugest on all grouop buys on the forum that the person organising it should lodge there home address telephone numbers for home and work and maybe a scan of a utility bill from under three months that are held by you so that any persons trying to rip people off can be hopefully chassed for money taken on products not suplied. if there is a prize for worst forum group buy then this wins hands down.

I think thats a very good idea Robin. Mods should check all group buy forum members address and details or delete the thread so no-one can be scammed.

I second that, if your honest and honourable you would have no issues with offering your details, those with suspect scruples would hopefully reconsider.
