I'm having a bit of trouble with the above, I can't get it to change mode. The yellow standby light is lit but pressing the mode button has no effect. Anybody know anything about them? I've got it connected thru the cigerette lighter which is how I did it last year with no problems.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it is not registering a battery connected, so either something has come undone, the fuse has gone for the cog lighter socket or your battery is dead

Yeh, standby light should go and then u can scroll between the modes. Give it a good wiggle... Or connect direct to battery if you want to test if the charger has a fault

Left charger disconnected overnight, went back to it this morning and it's working ok?? Hope it stays that way.

Sounds like a dodgy connection somewhere, or you had turned it on at the mains this morning. As if you plug it into the car and haven't connected it to the mains it will show the standby bulb.

I have the same problem.
Plug the charger into the mains and the power light comes on.
Remove the charger plug from the mains and attach charger to the battery and the power light comes on albeit not as brightly.
Plug the charger back into the mains, wait 10 mins for the charger to settle and it still won't change modes so is not charging tHe battery.
Thoughts? New battery time?
Cheers,
