Hot foot wells makes all the difference with the roof off. Anything blown at the face/screen is immediately lost to the outside. I the MG with the roof down in the winter it's bobble hats and bermuda shorts (the only vents are in the footwells or the screen) You cannot get cold air out of the vents either (hot or off!!) and is is too hot even sub zero. I wouldn't mind having something that boosted the heat and flow in the footwells and just left the dash vents for clearing windscreen should it be misted up...

Hi guys, Unfortunately there has been a massive cock up with the laser cutting company this week and so am not expecting delivery until mid next week. I seem to spend more of my time chasing suppliers than I do actually getting any work done, ohh the joys of business...

Really interesting thread this, good work guys. Don't want to commit to buying one just yet - i've just managed to get mine to waft a little warm air but it's far from a proper heater! Was thinking of taking radio out and trying to install an electric heater in the gap but they give out naff all either! Nick

Adam, Are you specifying the heater enclosure is sprayed silver to avoid heat lost via radiation? Assuming you can produce a really effective replacement heater I am still in, I am still looking forward to having a good heater. Paul

Still awaiting laser cutting...... Yawn.. It's ironic how I changed laser cutters because the last company could NEVER stick to a schedule and so I thought I would go back to my old, always on time, but more expensive, laser cutters only for my order to be delayed by over 2 weeks!!! Thats Karma for you...

I think that threat sorted them out! The laser cutting turned up this morning! Hopefully it won't be too long before the fabricators get the prototype units made, they have been pretty busy recently but they generally get my stuff through quite quick as I do some CNC programming a few mornings a week for them.

Hey, Its been a slow one... I am awaiting on the fab shop to finish welding and powder coating the prototype heater boxes, so hopefully mid next week I can get a couple prototypes out there.
