Like everything i post on this site there not mine but my uncle & aunties bikes  but as there technophobes i,ll post the list & pics for em ;)

These are the only bikes i have pics of,
Suzuki T250R, bought in bits, restored and sold last summer.
Posted Image

Kawasaki 500 H1D, bought in bits, restored/modified and sold last summer.
Posted Image

Kawasaki 350 S2, bought in bits and still being restored.
Posted Image

Kawasaki 500 H1 UK Model, he used to see this bike locally in orpington in the 70s and allways wanted it, then found it for sale in bits for £500 6 years ago and restored it.
Posted Image

Suzuki RGV 250 (My aunties bike)
Posted Image

Yamaha TZR 250 SPR, Japan Import with dry clutch, second hand RC Sugo ECU sourced from japan, Various engine things i dont understand, Ohlins rear damper, Jim Lomas pipes, wieghs 110KGs and Rolling road day showed 70bhp 12K but pulls to 14K i dont know why the tester couldent go to 14K.
Posted Image

Yamaha TR2 350 Cheney frame number 004 which we think was Phil Reeds 1970 South african GP frame, there was only 2 350 frames made by cheney and cheneys son says there was no records ever kept. So if anybody happends to know what number frame went to who my uncle would be very greatfull ;) The bike is nearly builtup now but this is a pic of it from last summer.

There was about 60 bikes before them but by the time he listed the 3rd silly bike name i gave up on the list

Oh dear!..... I've just had a small trouser accident...

Along with the Z1's these H1 and 2 triples are arguably The most iconic jap Bikes ever, which reflects in their prices as even average H2 'Widow Makers' fetch £10K+

If they've got any more of these restored old strokers lying around I'd be happy to take them of their hands...... for a small fee!.

You sound like my uncle :P

Im to young to see the attraction of pre 90s bike styling ;) yet oddly one of my favorite looking cars is from the 30s.

My memory is terrible but i think he sold that modded H1D for 3.5k last summer to someone in kent, i imagine the 350 S2 and the Yam RD400 box of bits hes just picked up will be up for sale in the summer.

One of my Dad's friends has nearly completed his restoration of a TR3, I've not seen it but apparently it is very original, I'll try to get some pictures of it.

Anybody currently own or have owned the Ducati 1200 Multistrada? Thinking of buying one as my last 2,500 trip to the Alps in July on my Yamaha R1 was too painful on my wrists. Other option is a BMW GS1200 Adventure. Members experience appreciated.... Thanks. David.

Used to have a BMW R1150GS Adventure. Was great for driving round the Alps. Comfortable, loads of luguage, riding position was great for checking out the scenery, huge tank range.

Engine and gearbox were awful. I know they improved them for the 1200, but speaking to people who've tried both they said not by much.

The 1150 ADV was also particularly tall and top heavy. It could be a handful at times. If it was parked on a slope I couldn't get on it because if I sat on it I didn't have the leg length to get it upright, and if I held it up I didn't have the height to get on it. I'm not very tall so this might not be an issue for you, and I think the 1200 is a bit lower anyway. I sold it for a BMW K1200LT and that was actually easier to ride, even though it weighs a lot more.

Good bike though. I only sold it because I was commuting a lot more and wanted something for that - hence the LT.

Lurvely.

Just bought a Rocket III. My first British bike, my first triple. Love it, but yours is probably better going round corners!

Never owned a road bike, just a Suzuki RM80, lots of lovely 2 stroke smells and sounds!
Proper old school twin shocks at the rear and an exhaust that makes a VSE or 3 inch Tullet sound quiet
