Looks ok in the pics. Not standard suspension, looks low. ETA oh obviously aftermarket exhaust as well.

Think I've seen this one in the flesh, well a Dolphin Blue one that was pretty standard apart form the exhaust. Looked in ok nick but needed some TLC on the interior. Personally I didn't like the colour, as above bear that in mind as it is obviously hard to sell as a result.

It sounds like there's a fair bit wrong with it. You'd definately want to do an HPI check.

The colour is a massive put off for most people. Stick to a popular colour as it will be easier to sell in the long term. After all, it is not as if it is a car you see loads of anyway.

:yeahthat:

But, at the end of the day it's still a VX. You'd think the things wrong with it would get fixed, in order to make it more sellable.

It's not good to hear about a VX (which is not exactly written off) just sitting around month after month with no-one wanting to buy it.

Does the colour matter when your wanting to sell it on, you buy a car to use yourself and if you like, you like it.

I agree that the colour is not appealing to most but as I said if you like thumbsup

As for the car itself, it seems to be hanging around a bit, maybe one to stear clear of, the closet isn't always the best.

surely as a dealer he would be prepared to put the faults right or move a lot on price this is not a cheap car and if you are on a budget then leave it as you will probably find more problems over the first few weeks of ownership odly enough i live in leicester and bought my daughters clio off this guy seemed ok but cant vouch for that if its not far why not pop over have a look clock the previous owners name and address off the log book and try 192 and give them a ring or drop them a line to see if it has any dodgy history he;s rid of it now so shouldnt have any reason to leave you in the dark then try to get a big slice off the screen price especially this time of year and that it has been around a long time go look with your eyes open and your wallet firmly shut dont be rushed it probably will not sell while you are researching it good luck great fun to drive oh and talking of marmite colours mines le manns green which is not everyones fav but i love it
