Not nice at all really, but on the whole true in my experience of living + working there 5 years, although I worked in the City where the "greed" factor was admittedly more severe/overwhelming. It was lonely, terribly crowded, expensive, noisy, slow to move around in and packed full of pretentious people primarily interested in making money. I left once I had worked this out. You only have to look at the latest tube strikers complaining that their £50k isn't enough for sitting on their backsides, sheesh.

did you live in the stock exchange or something, get off you moral high horse because it does not exist you fcuking prick. LOTS of people work hard in the city to scrape a living, far more then the very few "top cats" you describe.

But the general view of London being full of mega wealthy people is trash. Yes there are a few but the population of grater London is over 11 million people and some of those areas are the poorest in the country.
