The longer one has a couple of clips as well as tape. I believe the trick is to push the panel upwards as you pull it outwards (if that makes sense!).
And use velcro to reattach. Makes future removal so much easier.

Here's a pic of the back of the long one that might help with removal.

Hi,
Reading how to remove the dash panel is easy, but doing it is a different story (for me at least...) The issue I am facing with is that the long panel sticks extremely to the dasboard.
How can one make it easier this job? a, heating it up
b, removing the dashboard top
c, breaking it
Please let me know how all of you did it!
ps: I know about the clips, but pushing the panel upwards is not fully possible without removing the top of the dashboard...

just work on one clip at one end at a time to loosen that then move on to the next. There's 3 clips on mine but I think there used to be one by the steering wheel as well. The trim panel seems plenty flexible to do this. Doesn't even crack my aerosol paint job on it. Just don't try to pull the middle clip out by holding the ends of the panel. Grip near the actual pin your are trying to pull out. I just reused the pins for the long panel - they come out easier next time - but have used velcro on the smaller panel.

Finally I got it off.
Thank you for the mental power and advice!
