So, 12 months ago I spotted a dolphin vx for sale in Matlock. I'm back again for a weeks holiday and its still there! £8k and I'm sure it's open to offers. It looks like it hasn't moved.... EN53 KWY / EN53KWY

I'm aware of this one in Matlock. I work with someone who lives just outside of Matlock and he occasionally mentions it. I may take a trip up there to have a look at some point.

Is that the one on eBay? Seems to be a few on eBay that have been there a long time, a green one and a gold one, etc Also that Mandarin one on PistonHeads seems to have been on there a long time, seems reasonably priced. Does make you wonder.

It looks OK on the ad. Not much detail though.

The owner of that Mandarin one was a bit of an arsehole. Asked him how the heater is in it and he told me to f*ck off and don't waste his time.
In response I said you've lost a genuine buyer and he replied ''I hope your mum dies''.
Lovely chap.

Turns out he is on here as when I posted a topic about it someone recognised it, but the guy himself hasn't been on since its been up for sale.

Other than the pics in the advert, he had one other pic of the interior in a far from clean condition, it was a terrible pic to advertise a car with.

Mmm, I remember it coming up before on here. But I seem to have forgotten the outcome of the original thread. I remember the exhaust being mentioned....

Weird how some of them tend to stick. Track v road have that red one on PH that seems to have been for sale forever. That mandarin is a permanent feature and if course the yellow vxt with 800 miles on it.

the mandarin one is located a long way maybe from lots of potential buyers.
it has had all the light units replaced for the ones with black surround, and debadged ?new rear clam
i like it for the money, unless its cat c or d...

edit: just read the post about the seller being an arse. i remember the thread, just didn't realise this was the car. that would really put me off as you can't trust a thing the guy says with his attitude like that.
if the money is low enough on it its worth a punt though....
i'd just hate to give cash to some tw*t like that - it would hurt too much LOL

From what I remember its a decent enough car. But the guy just shot himself in the arse a bit with his replies.

It's a nice looking car in the flesh. Paintwork has been given some TLC and the anthracite wheels are immaculate.
I fitted the Gaz suspension on it last year and it was all setup at CLCM straight after that.

Yeah I was a little gutted about it as I would have loved a Mandarin and I was still tempted to make an offer for it right up until I found a good silver one locally.
Now I hope the vx spntaneously combusts and the guy ends up with nothing.
