Calypso Red, one owner from new, 27,500 miles, £11,500.

Personalised reg. GT03 VXT. MOT'd till June 2011. SORN since September last year.

Stage 2 map and full stainless Milltek exhaust system; mapped at 245 PS & 255 lbft February 2004. Substantially modified for track use, but now returned to a more road friendly specification.

Since it was last advertised I have re-fitted the heater, fitted a replacement META alarm, relocated the boost gauge to the dash panel to allow replacement of heater control panel, fitted a hinged and lockable boot lid and replaced the speaker panel and soundproofing. I have also installed the original stereo and modified the speaker panel to fit speakers below the Lotus harness bar (which routes through the standard speaker position).

I am sending the boot lid (currently silver as sourced from another car) and the rear clam for paint during the next week or so, to repaint the old wing slot cut-outs and to sort out a few areas on the rear edge of the clam that suffered due to the very cold weather this winter. I had Paintshield protection film applied to the lower front clam when the car was a few weeks old, so the front is pretty much free from stonechips.

Will be sold with engine oil service and new cambelt and water pump.

Yokohama A048R LTS-spec tyres
Brake cooling ducts

Engine:
Milltek stainless exhaust system (back box, sports cat and pre-cat replacement pipe)
Stage 2 map (15 psi overboost and 12 psi held boost) 245PS/255lbft
BMC Carbon dynamic airbox

Interior:
Black/red leather seats with harness cut-outs
Lotus factory fitted harness bar
Schroth 4 point harness (driver)
Standard seat belt (passenger)
Courtenay boost gauge

Bodywork:
Single skin, lined and colour-coded hardtop (OE hardtop modified to improve headroom)
Also supplied with black softop roof and storage bags for both roofs.
Quick-release bolts for front cover
Jimsan 4 fin diffuser (powder coated black)
Astra G 2 part rubber front splitter
Rear clam vents
Boot mounted relays and fuses relocated to passenger cabin (rear bulkhead panel)

The following parts have been removed;
- front foglights
- front cover hinge & locking mechanism
- driver-side seat belt

- Standard airbox

While the car is now only 20-30 kg lighter than standard, it would still make an ideal base vehicle for track use.
