Purple mesh tom? :o

And can you drop me a PM about who it is you're actually speaking to at Murketts about the paint as I've got no where with an email.

Cheers,

G

Nope, they'll be spraying it black once everything is done. It's just easier to operate that way rather than mask off small section beforehand.

PM on it's way.

Thanks James, I ordered the silver edging today, as well as two NACA ducts as both of mine decided to make a break for freedom.

Small update.

I've finished covering the plastic sill covers with leather, I used 1mm neoprene to both fill the triangular sections and create a soft touch leather. Hopefully this means leaning my knee against it during long journeys won't result in the same pain as I usually get.

I also collected one of the oversized TAT diffusers from James, I'm using kart seat spacers to space it from the clam. They come in a variety of materials such as rubber, plastic and aluminium, however I don't want the spacers to be a feature so I just went for black plastic.

I've got silver edging for the diffuser on the way as well as new indicators, have just finished respraying the V to cover the stone chips. I think that's all you're going to see until photos next weekend.

They are. For me they were an obvious choice as my drivers side sill cover had a lot of damage, i've now patched that with fibreglass and covered. From the outside you can't tell they've been repaired.

Agree with Riz, after seeing Mbes's sills in the leather and now yours I have to say I've gone right off the carbon fibre ones - cost and practicality is winning me over.

Cant wait to see pics next Saturday Tom.

I bought a pair of carbon fibre sills, especially to cover, so it didn't have the triangles in. :)
