Do you know where I can buy this phenolic spacer with cutout?You've got to use some RTV sealant too to ensure you don't get vacuum loss into the inlet from the PCV valve. I suspect the issue MaxR had was related to that. there is a phenolic spacer with an LSJ to L62 channel cut into it, but I don't really see the need for a phenolic spacer when i'm just running 265 bhp. It would save some cutting and messing around with sealant if that was used though.

used to be a guy on ebay, doesn't seem to be there any more. I think ZZP still do them.

Did you not have the Courtenay spacer fitted?
Easy to mod that one and the result should look like this:
