some Z20LET injectors which I already have, but I don't like the idea of running at 98 % duty cycle.

Nick is flogging his surplus VXR injectors at the moment.

and I was very tempted until I nabbed a set of four new VXR injectors on ebay for the same price.

I've got everything bar a 90 degree elbow to mount the CC pump and some VXR injectors - both of which should be in the post, if the worst happens I can have a slightly more messy CC pump install without the elbow and use some Z20LET injectors which I already have, but I don't like the idea of running at 98 % duty cycle.

What pulley you on

3.1", I suspect we will have very similar maps once everything is complete.

Yes I have,

current set up is:

VXR injectors

3.1" pulley

dual pass mod'ed, pro alloy CC, 15 L/min pump

2.5 " larini backbox (eventually a turbo one whenever JakVX pulls his finger out and sends me a U bend), no pre-cat, standard manifold.

75mm dia cone filter

Dutch ECU

However unlike you i'll try to avoid modifying enough to keep standard internals, at least for a bit.

Not really, I can always lower the rpm limit.

That would be the only other way. With the SC you don't need to rev to 7000 rpm anyway.

Aux. tensioner replaced

Fuel breather relocated

ECU flashed with base map

Rear clam sprayed

VXR injectors ordered

Fit 100 A alternator, inlet manifold, supercharger

Fit coolant S-bend

re-route fuel lines

I managed to keep around 250bhp with 3.1 pulley with a rev limit of 6800 But I hadent messed with ignition settings at this point, and only done one learning session.

Do you think it's worth running multiple learning sessions without additional changes?

I would do it like this: From base map Do a small learn session up to 4000 just to make sure fuel trims are reducing and base map is rich ( no reason why not) Then keep car on base map and do a power measurement and logging session, this will give you start reverence points. Then do a full learn session, followed by power measurement and a other logging session Then if you want more Do ignition alteration + and - followed by power measurents and logging for both And then add the best into ignition table from + and - and base Followed by a other power measurement and logging to confirm improvements Do this twice then a other fuel learn and repeat as many times as you want. Depending on how much improvement you want,

Cheers, very useful going forward. Given the time contraints before The National I will probably just have time for a full learn session and leave the ignition advancement until next week.

There is more to be gained from playing with ignition setting but you need a good fuel measurement to gain most from ignition, Which is why you need to do further fuel learns to get more out of ignition again. Chicken and egg syndrome

have you tried including the knock measurements in the fuel learn data or have you done a separate knock measurement?

Knock measurement is included in power measurement you need to keep that below 0.5%
