I mean when you press 'process measurement' to include the latest learned fuelings, you have an option of including knock measurements too, have you tried this yet?

It doesn't seem to say, just that I could do. This might be a question for Peter

You can control knock with ignition mods

I think i've run out of time to get this all working, on the plus side I'll certainly be ready for next years' national.

As chill said do the fuel learn first. Do not apply the ignition changes on the fuel learn. This is because you are running the engine lean (when learning) at this point so you may get more KR at this point. When you do an ignition session the fuel map operates normally not locked at 14.7:1. As you are SC when doing a fuel learn allow the engine to cool a little between WOT runs.

Ah, I get you. Basically don't change more than one thing at a time because you're not getting real world conditions to make the modifications to the map.

Got it running at about 10.30, Charge cooler pump isn't working- didn't have enough time or daylight to see if it was an issue with the wiring, relay or pump itself. First job for tomorrow.

For future reference, it starts much easier with the blue loom plug connected.

Much less cuts and bruses certainly, but I like being able to do things myself, plus it lets me work the timings better.

Mapping session complete. Mostly fuel trims of 15 % ish at high RPM and high boost, everything else looks minor with changes of 2-3 %.

If you have got good results and mainly green boxes apply the results to the base map. Then do a knock learn session and apply the results. You will than have a nice safe map to fine tune at your leisure. Great work!

I've applied the adjustments to the base map. Will do a knock learn session later on - at the moment i'm happy i've got a safe map so am taking a break and tidying the house up!
