I must love nuts and bolts. I've put together a list of the nuts, bolts and washers required for: Shocks wishbones hubs front top shock mount hub carriers In all there are 128 pieces. These cannot be reaplced with stainless as stainless does not have the required tensile properties. All bolts are 8.8 property classification save for Hub carriers and Hub bolts which will be 10.9. To avoid corrosion they will be zinc plated which does not afect the tensile properties of the steel I'm happy to do a seperate shock kit, as more people seem to change these (24 pieces) A gauge of interest at this stage, though i'm likely to do a large batch to keep the intial cost of material down and more importantly the plating. I may also look to get new carriers for ABS connector and on the rear, new locking washers.

You might as well do the lot, especially as the cost isn't very different for the whole lot. Though i still don't know what that is at the moment.

I've split up the kit as follows

Hub Carrier Bolts
These are 10.9. Crucially, they are 10.9 material rather than a 12.9 with a weaker head (which have been offered to me by some wholesale suppliers). Sourced from Europe
Includes 2 bolts per corner front and back
£10 for the set including postage
For a general representation item 5 from the picture below
I'm going to have quite a few sets

Hub Bolts
These are also 10.9 (as per OEM), Zinc plated.
Includes 3 bolts per corner front and back (big M12 bolts)
£15 for the set including postage
From the picture below item 3
I won't have many sets of these as i'm usure of demand.

Shocks and Wishbones
These are 8.8 as per the orginals. They are also Zinc plated
Includes all the bolts, nuts and washers for the shocks
Includes all the bolts, nuts ans washers for the wishbones, including the fine pitch bolt on the rear brakes (should be servicable), including the very odd 85mm front M10. I could probably replace this with a 90 (and some kits do) but if Lotus went to the effort, so will I.
Includes the bolts for the front top suspension mounting brackets.
Also includes new ball joint nuts
£30 including postage
(over £45 from elise shop)
From the picture below items, 7,8,9,10,13,23,29,
I will have 9 sets of these
